Architecture

The big picture of how Pactbase works.

Pactbase is the consent layer for your business. It records purposes, decisions and proof. It does not store your customers' actual personal data.

The parts

PartWhat it does
EmbedOne script on your site. Shows the cookie banner and the consent block on your forms.
Admin appWhere your team sets up purposes, notices, cookies, vendors and handles requests.
Hosted pagesPublic pages for your customers: trust center, cookie and data preferences, rights and grievance forms.
PlatformStores decisions with proof, keeps your data isolated from other customers, and sends emails.

Principles

  • Consent layer, not a data store. We record decisions and proof, not the values people typed.
  • Append-only records. A withdrawal is a new record. Past records are never edited.
  • Your forms stay yours. No form builder. The embed never blocks or changes a submit.

Not available yet: webhooks, connectors and a consent-check API.
