Banner per website

Show a different cookie banner on each of your websites.

If you run several websites, each can show its own banner: design, theme, accent colour, copy, button and category labels, and consent duration. A website without its own banner shows your default banner.

Set it up

Default (all websites)The banner every website shows unless it has its own
example.com, uses the defaultNothing yet. Give this website its own banner starts a copy of the default. It goes live on that website when you save
example.com, own bannerThat website's banner. Use the default again deletes it, after a confirmation

Two settings stay organisation-wide and are edited only on the default banner, because they are legal choices about your organisation and not design: Handle GPC signals and Directed at children. On a website's own banner they are shown greyed out.

Each banner's copy is translated on its own, under Settings, then Translation.

How the script picks the banner

The script sends its site key. The website of that site key has its own banner, or it gets the default. The website is decided only by the site key, never by the page's address.

Snippets installed before site keys existed keep getting the default banner. To give such a website its own banner, copy its snippet again from Settings, then Domains.

Every decision records its website and a fingerprint of exactly the banner the visitor saw.
