Page embeds

Show your notice, policies and cookie declaration on your own pages.

A page embed fills an element on your page with live content from Pactbase: your notice, a policy, or your cookie declaration. You add one line where you want that content to appear.

Each embed is independent and optional. Add only the ones you need, each on the page where it belongs — the cookie declaration on your cookie policy page, the privacy notice on your privacy page, and so on. You do not need all of them.

Steps

1. Make sure the script is on the page

Embeds only work on a page that has the Pactbase cookie script. If the page already shows your banner, it is there. If not, add the snippet first in the <head> — copy your own from Settings, then Domains.

2. Publish the content

An embed shows what you have published in Pactbase. A notice embed needs a published Purpose Registry; a policy embed needs that policy published. Until then the embed stays empty.

3. Add the embed

Paste the line for the content you want, where it should appear on the page. For example, your cookie policy page:

<div data-pactbase="cookies"></div>

You can place more than one on a page if it makes sense, but each line is added on its own:

<div data-pactbase="notice"></div>
<div data-pactbase="policy" data-slug="privacy-policy" data-lang="hi"></div>

The embeds

EmbedShows
noticeYour published Purpose Registry
policyA published policy. data-slug picks it, data-lang picks the language
cookiesThe cookie declaration for a cookie policy page: every category with its purposes, the data collected, how long it is kept, and the cookies, storage keys and pixels, kept current by each scan
rights, grievance, dpo, preferencesA labelled link to the matching hosted page

Content comes from what you have published, so editing and publishing in Pactbase updates your page without touching it.
